Sakleshapur or Sakaleshpura in Kannada is a small town in Hassan district in the South Indian state of Karnataka.

The town is on the border between the Western Ghats (Malnad) and Bayaluseemae (plain region). It has a temperate climate. Coffee beans grown in surrounding villages are brought to Sakleshpura for sale. The town lies on National Highway 48 (NH-48), which connects Mangalore with Bangalore.

Coffee Beans is best in the monsoons though you have to be prepared take on the leeches if you want to trek through the forests. Tourists descend from October till March since they prefer the cool climes during the time.
